A minimalist ink wash watercolor of a broken dead tree leaf where the skeleton was exposed by some sort of insect damage as they ate the leaf away and left the veins. It makes an interesting pattern and a rare glimpse at the inner structure of a leaf contrasted against the light of a cloudy winter day.

This digital watercolor is made from my own original iPhone photograph of the leaf as I held it up to let the light shine through the holes.

I am a life long lover of art and nothing makes me happier than when I am creating it. My style is an eclectic mix of colors and emotions that I believe will offer a little something for everyone.
