Description
A classic painterly scene of a lakeside campsite with a silver car parked next to a blue dome tent with two cute dogs in the open doorway looking out as the rising sun cast an early morning pinkish glow into the atmosphere and reflects on the calm waters and hills all around. You can feel the peace and tranquility and know the campers are going to have a beautiful day enjoying the scenic secluded shoreline.
This is an edit I made for the edit this 62 contest hosted by Abbie Shores who also provided the camping scene photo. I used a 19th century landscape painting by artist Thomas Hicks of a lake in upstate New York as the backdrop of this composite image then after I merged the images together I added digital painting effects in Gimp and enhanced the colors to give it a morning glow.
