Description
Here in Oklahoma we still have many mom and pop owned small businesses. The Dairy Mart on US HWY 81 in Union City Oklahoma is one of them with it's iconic red and white paint job and the classic carport awning to shade people while they eat in their cars. Unfortunately on the day I grabbed this photograph they were not open for business or we would have stopped in to grab a bite to eat to support a small locally owned business and help keep them from going the way of the dinosaur.
