This is a photo of Red Rock United Methodist Church which is a small church next to a very old cemetery where generations of my husband's family are buried. It is located out in the country in between the small towns of Calumet and El Reno Oklahoma. There are headstones in that cemetery that are dated in the 1880's and many are for infants that had not even been named yet. I took this photo on Memorial day one year after we had laid wreaths and planted flags on the family graves. This charming little church on the prairie is still serving a small congregation of local people of faith. It looks like the building has been remodeled not so long ago. I gave this photo an artistic treatment.
I am a life long lover of art and nothing makes me happier than when I am creating it. My style is an eclectic mix of colors and emotions that I believe will offer a little something for everyone. I like to experiment and invent new techniques in creating art with my digital tools and one of my goals is always to make digital mixed media artwork that doesn't look digital.
