Artist's Description
This crossover digital impressionist piece fits into two of my collections as it has a red house and it is in my Shantytown neighborhood. I had fun adding the red peeling paint and lots of extra textures and giving the sky a evening glow. The actual house in the original reference photo had a boring gray asphalt siding and the house in the background was actually the red house but as an artist will do, I took the liberty of completely changing the colors to make it more appealing to the eye. The actual house is still standing for now and I think someone even lives in it. The neighborhood I live in is in a poor part of town and while some people are buying and fixing up properties to improve the home values, there are others that are just thankful to have any roof over their head at all.

My artwork is characterized by vibrant colors and muted details that draw the viewer in. My use of digital mixed media techniques add depth and texture to my pieces, creating a visual feast for the eyes. I invite you to delve further...
