Description
This is an artistic version of a previous fractal abstract I developed and in this version I have added a school of fish in various sizes who are happily swimming around this menacing conglomeration of robotic fish hooks and seem to be quite oblivious to the imminent danger that hovers so near. Maybe they are not too worried because they see no bait to entice them to bite or maybe they know that this mechanical angler is after bigger prey, not small fry like them. I like the alien seascape feeling this piece has with the orange waters and the creepy metallic hooks that almost look alive. Imagine it floating flexibly back and forth in a rhythmic way to mesmerize it's intended victim so that they will swim right into it and be impaled on the sharp barbs. Then it will wrap around the catch and pull it in to some unseen mouth and come back for a second course.
