I was working with a colorful photo I took of a hometown carnival. There was an ornate carousel in the background with parents and children gathered around. In the foreground was a bright green and red kiddie roller coaster in the shape of a dinosaur with three cars and in each car a child with expressions of joy and elation on their little faces, their hair whipped with the wind. There were bright white lights on the carousel and people in bright colored clothing walking around. As I worked with this image trying to get it just right I could almost smell the cotton candy and hear the sounds of music mixed with midway carnival hawkers then something happened and I ended up with this riot of carnival colors that perfectly express the memories of excitement from my childhood visits to the carnival.

I am a life long lover of art and nothing makes me happier than when I am creating it. My style is an eclectic mix of colors and emotions that I believe will offer a little something for everyone. I like to experiment and invent new techniques creating art with my digital tools and one of my goals is always to make digital mixed media artwork that doesn't look digital.
