Artist's Description
A sunday prayer meeting outside the on the way to the church house with women in amish dress stopping to pray together in the early morning mist with a rock wall and tree line in the background.
My second edit for the edit this 74 contest hosted by Abbie on Fine Art America.
For this edit I used the landscape photo donated by Abbie and merged it with a vintage art painting of the women from the public domain, then gave it a digitial watercolor super pixel treatment using Gimp and finally a canvas texture.
The public domain vintage painting used is titled "Women by the sea" by artist by Jan Toorop circa 1887 courtesy of RawPixel used under CC0 license.
About Shelli Fitzpatrick
Everywhere I look, I see art. If you cut me, I bleed art. I am an artist from birth. It is a talent and a gift God gave me. I specialize in old school digital art, botanical, abstracts and photo manipulation with an emphasis on light and color. One of my goals as a digital artist is to create art that doesn't look digital. My style is eclectic and I focus less on exact details and more on impressions and feelings. You will see the influence of my favorite styles in my work, such as post impressionism, expressionism and modern digital techniques like glitch art . If you like my work please share it on your social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest using the share buttons on this page, thank you! Some of my favorite...
