Artist's Description
This is a digital impressionist oil that I made from a free public domain photograph of an Irish terrier. He was just begging me to turn him into a painting.
It reminded me of stories you hear about loyal dogs waiting patiently for their master to return even at their grave side. I am not sure where this sweet boy is waiting but I hope it is just the grocery store.
The scene is a super cute red irish terrier dog laying with his head on his paws and looking wistfully in the direction that he last saw his master, patiently waiting for the pet owner to return with a look of extreme love that is sad and sweet at the same time. This image will pull at your heartstrings.
About Shelli Fitzpatrick
Everywhere I look, I see art. If you cut me, I bleed art. I am an artist from birth. It is a talent and a gift God gave me. I specialize in old school digital art, botanical, abstracts and photo manipulation with an emphasis on light and color. One of my goals as a digital artist is to create art that doesn't look digital. My style is eclectic and I focus less on exact details and more on impressions and feelings. You will see the influence of my favorite styles in my work, such as post impressionism, expressionism and modern digital techniques like glitch art . If you like my work please share it on your social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest using the share buttons on this page, thank you! Some of my favorite...
