A photo merge of a storm damaged tree and the storm that damaged it. This is my imaginary rendering of how the trees in this image might have gotten torn in half and stripped of their bark. Living in Oklahoma I have actually witnessed the power of nature when it is all wound up in a twister like this one. They have the potential to unleash torrential rains causing flash floods that are every bit as dangerous as the violent high winds.
I created this image for the edit this 75 image contest on FAA hosted by Abbie Shores using the damaged tree image that she donated and super imposed it with an image of a storm at sea that I obtained courtesy of Pixabay free stock image site.
