Description
Sparrows are one of those birds that are abundant in Oklahoma and we have them in many varieties all year long! This guy is a white crowned sparrow named because of the black and white stripes on the head. When you put out your winter bird feeders these cuties will be some of your first and most common visitors and they are not shy at all about having their photograph taken. They are very resourceful too at finding a bite to eat. I have seen them raid the pet bowls when the feeders were empty.
