I live in the a very old neighborhood of our small Oklahoma town where there are still standing some homes from the 1930's and 40's. I have affectionately dubbed it "Shantytown" and for the past few years I have been trying to document as many of these old homes as possible in art form before they are all torn down. I captured this quaint little house a few years back on camera and just recently converted it to a digital oil. It looks like it used to be an old school house and the owners have since painted it a boring white. I am so glad I caught it while it was still in living color!
