It's tourist season and this abstract summer street scene could be anywhere where tourists gather to shop and see the sights. Personally it reminds me of a certain town in the Colorado Rocky mountains where I used to live long ago. During the peak season there would be so many people in the streets that it would take me 10 minutes to walk 2 blocks to the cafe where I worked.
