A fun concept I came up with for people who need some instant ancestors.The portraits in this collection are anonymous in that it is unknown who the people are and also who the artist was so you can make your own ancestor out of them. Give them a name and create a faux history and voila you have an instant ancestor without being a genealogist. All the artwork in this collection is courtesy of Open access sources and I have digitally restored and color corrected them if needed. As a lifelong art lover I am thrilled to be able to make a small contribution and help put some of this classic unknown artwork back into circulation for art collectors to enjoy.
