A botanical macro photo in black and white of a soft fuzzy yellow goatsbeard plant with the puffball seedhead shining in the sun. This is the fullest most complete salsify seedhead I have ever seen as usually the cute little bristly seeds fly away on the prairie winds of Oklahoma. I liked this photo in square format to show off the subject as a centerpiece. Sometimes it is okay to break the rule of thirds.
