A sad lady sits in window of her ivy covered cottage looking out the window in the darkness of night waiting for her man to return... from here you get to make up the rest of the story. Was he gone to war? or just to the pub?
My husband was watching me create this image and helped me name it with a light hearted play on words to help dispel some of the gloom. We decided for us, her name is Mrs. White and she is waiting for Mr. White, (he was gone wabbit hunting and said he would be wite back).
I created this image for the edit this 65 contest hosted by Abbie Shores from a photograph donated by Jack Torcello. I added the lady from a vintage painting I found in the public domain.
Everywhere I look, I see art. If you cut me, I bleed art. I am an artist from birth. It is a talent and a gift God gave me. I specialize in old school digital art, botanical, abstracts and photo manipulation with an emphasis on light and color. One of my goals as a digital artist is to create art that doesn't look digital. My style is eclectic and I focus less on exact details and more on impressions and feelings. You will see the influence of my favorite styles in my work, such as post impressionism, expressionism and modern digital techniques like glitch art . If you like my work please share it on your social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest using the share buttons on this page, thank you! Some of my favorite subject...
