Description
A low down perspective from a bug's eye view of some tall stalks of wild blue sage blossoms against a beautiful blue summer sky with wispy clouds. This lovely wild herb blooms late in summer and stands up tall above the prairie grass reaching for the sky and trying to attract bumble bees who are the main pollenators. It is a useful medicinal plant for wounds and burns and also a nice tasting spice being a member of the mint family. They are getting rather rare so if you see one please leave it be!
The base image for this artwork was a photo shot with an iPhone 6. My favorite way to get a good bug's eye view like this one is a smartphone camera turned upside down.
